The model number 4M-012 is located on the bottom of the unit. The base has an analog knob and power button to control the range of motion of the rocker. The RockaRoo is a baby rocker with front to back gliding motion. The MamaRoo model that uses a 5-point harness is not included in this recall. This recall includes only MamaRoo models that use a 3-point harness: versions 1.0 and 2.0 (model number 4M-005), version 3.0 (model number 1026), and version 4.0 (model number 1037). The sparks you’re noticing when plugging the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing power supply into a wall outlet or when connecting the power cord into the base of the seat are normal. If it still doesn't work, check to make sure the MP3 cord is plugged in completely on both ends. Try adjusting the volume on the music playing device. Other power cords will allow the seat to power on and play music, but the seat will not move and may display an error message. Please confirm you are using the original 4moms labeled power cord that came with the MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing. If that’s not the issue, make sure the volume is not muted. The built-in sounds won’t play when the MP3 cord is plugged into your device, so make sure the cord is unplugged. The error may also be the result of use with a baby over the 25 pound weight limit or if the baby is able to sit unaided.
